Professional Background

Jane is a Florida Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Mental Health Counselor in private practice in Tampa, Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Goddard College, Plainfield, Vermont. She is a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Her certifications include Neurolinguistic Programmer, Thought Field Therapy, Hypnosis and Pesso System Psychomotor. She completed Level II training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and Level II training in Thought Form Therapy.

Jane started facilitating Holotropic Breathwork Workshops in 1986 and was in the first group of students from all over the world to be certified as Holotropic Breathwork Practitioners by Stan Grof and Jacqueline Small in 1988. She was certified as a Riso-Hudson Enneagram Teacher in 1995 and is the Director of the Enneagram Institute of Tampa Bay.

Specializing In

In her private practice, Jane provides individual and group psychotherapy. She specializes in the treatment of acute and chronic trauma resolution; grief resolution; addictions recovery; sexual and emotional abuse; stress reduction; depression; anxiety disorders and relationship therapy. Jane has two ongoing Enneagram Study Groups and holds Enneagram Experiential Workshops annually. She uses the Enneagram extensively with her clients.

Personal Statement

I dedicate my life to exploring my own personal and spiritual growth as I do my work in supporting and guiding people as they journey through the dark night of the soul and toward their inner light. I have explored and studied many different avenues of healing and continue to do so. However, my work has found its home in the Enneagram of Personality Types, a system of self-knowledge, which has opened the way for me to integrate a powerful blend of techniques, including Holotropic Breathwork. As we heal the repetitive, self-destructive patterns that keep our selves, our relationships and our families in pain, we find our power, realize our potential and go on to enjoy more authentic and fulfilling lives.
