Yes, she seems very ENFP-ish.

Enneathing,

I am not saying that one is attracted to a particular type and so that means one is attracted to anyone with that number - not at all. I myself am attracted to 7's but certainly not every 7. However, on the law of averages, I would bet that most people are attracted to a parent type (my father was a 7). It may be a sign of maturity if one is attracted to another type because they have outgrown the need to heal and resolve needs and issues when growing up. On the other hand, if you get it wrong, then maybe that union will not last.

I have always felt Drew was a 7, I love her.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that she could possibly be a 5w4. I say this because she reminds me so much of my 5w4 friend. She's either a seven or a five. I don't think she is a six or a two.

I honestly see nothing fivish about her. Are you basing this opinion on anything except her similarity to your friend? Why do you type your friend 5w4 if she is very similar to Drew Barrymore? I just don't see it at all.

My friend certainly is not a gushing enthusiastic person like Drew Barrymore, but she shares some similarities; namely, the desire for independence with no limits on self-expression, attraction to strange fashion and oddball humor, klutziness, the ability to laugh at herself. Oh, and she sort of looks like her.

I agree she is probably too extroverted to be a five. Do you think she is an enfp?

I've seen Susan Sarandon typed as counterphobic 6 and 8.

To me, she looks like a younger Susan Sarandon.

What is Susan Sarandon's type?

I agree on 7w6. The 6 wing would explain her tendency towards "family" feelings and such. However, she seems much more untethered than a 2 usually is.

Personality Type 8, sx/so/sp, ENTP

In interviews she talks like a self-pres 7.

Imo, self-pres 7s can be very warm, particularly with a 6 wing. But it's probably the sp last 7s that 'give themselves'
to others more.

I think Drew is a 7, not sure what wing. I also think Brittany Spears is a 7 and generally (although not always) people are attracted to the same type.

She could also be so/sx. Has a higher social than me, and I'm thinking a bit of a lighter, smilier vibe.

Maybe sx/so 7s are more demonstrative than other 7s. A so/sx 7w6 I know in real life is actually one of the most anxious people I know, she has a very 'jittery' vibe about her. She has a strong 6 wing.

I agree with all of the above. Her energy whenever I've seen her interviewed and what I know of her life says 7w6 to me and I'd put her stacking at so/sx.

Her quote in the video clip is telling:

"All alone, I'm only a half; like a joke without any laugh."

I think that quote defines an element of 7w6s. Also doing things "on the fly" (not preparing a speech), yet still pulling it off, is something a 7w6 would do. She's a risk-taker and not afraid to live on the edge and push the boundaries.

I was actually thinking maybe more the sx/so 7 would be mistaken for a 2, more than the social 7. Social 7s haven't been that 2ish to me, but that's just my experience. But, yeah, you'd think with the 'sacrifice for group' thing they would appear 2ish.
sunny Posted - 18 Mar 2010 : 5:59:14 PM
I've read that social 7s can be mistaken for 2s.

That's what I said.

enneathing Posted - 18 Mar 2010 : 5:43:01 PM
2s can have all the qualities described above. I still think she's a 2, although possibly not sx/so. In the video Estride posted, she's constantly complimenting various people, which I'm not saying 7s can't do they can be very inclusive, but 2s tend towards more 'constant flattery'. Less so in the sp variants I've noticed, there's more entitlement. The sp last 2 has been the most charismatic e type ime.

The very first person I recognised as a 2, or any Enneagram type for that matter, was a 2w3 sx/??. I knew her type before I was sure of mine. I remeber, when I was reading the Undering the E book, between torn between 4 and 5, but seeing clearly the 2 in her and the 3 in another person I know. The 2w3 sx is one of the most 'untethered' people I know, remember two want to be loved for who they are so they tend towards showing themselves more than the 3 or 4. It's exteriorized. There was also a 2w3 so/sx who I thought might be a 7 at first, but he's definitely a 2. Not like Drew Barrymore though, if she's a 2 I'll bet on sx first.

I watched the first video ptypes posted though, and I could see 7 from that vid more. Maybe sx/so 7s are more demonstrative than other 7s. A so/sx 7w6 I know in real life is actually one of the most anxious people I know, she has a very 'jittery' vibe about her. She has a strong 6 wing.

Btw, I wasn't typing based on the parody, I didn't even watch it until now.

Lmao, there's so many typings here, I feel like making things complicated. I don't really know jack [blocked due to guideline #4 violation] about her.

I call her a 8w7 with a strong integration to 2. Just to [blocked due to guideline #4 violation] with you guys.

Also, it may help to present a video of the actual Drew Barrymore, rather than a parody. The parody may be biased, or it may just be the actor's personality type.

Here is the video the SNL spoof was spoofing. (Real version)
