Don't know if I'm the only person who has the urge to say things that don't rightfully belong in any thread that has an actual topic. Funny stuff you heard somebody say, awesome thing you saw while driving across town, trivial gripe that you just gotta say so you can move on, or totally random comments.
Now there's a thread for them.
I've thought for a few weeks about starting such a thread, but here's the thing that was so compelling it made me actually do it:

Hm never saw them.
One time I got in trouble because I took the tails off my cousin's my little ponies and filled them with water so they would sink and then used my GI Joes to rescue them. |

yup, sea ponies. fun for the bath, or pool. they had weights in their tails and floated. mine also sang, and did tricks, like the ones in the cartoon.

Reflecting on our last memory of someone who passes way unexpectedly.
In this case, it was a professional singer who offered me some
kind words when just ‘Hello’ would have been more than welcomed
from someone I didn’t really know. He was the friend of a friend.
It’s said that first impressions are important.
But so are last impressions when the person demonstrates
unexpected graciousness.
A reminder to pass it forward.

Jev - My best friend had a bunk bed as well. That worked as the high ground and there were a lot of fights over who got to utilize it. I was team G.I. Joe and he was always Cobra.
They were the 3 inch GI Joes. I remember dismantling them and finding out that the arms and legs were attached to the torso by little hooks and rubber bands. We then when on to try and make a GI Joe/Cobra hybrid fighters, but my friend's 1 mom stopped our creative play by saying we were destroying them.
We also had a base outside in a tree hut at my house. GI Joe's just hanging out in the trees.
