Hello everyone. Glad to meet you.

I know some of you are quite good at phototyping, so I'd like to see how you can do! I know--beyond a *shadow* of a doubt--my type & wing, tritype, and MBTI type. (Instincts I am somewhat less sure of.)

Sorry, I know it's an embarrassingly huge photo.

Also, if you know how to do facial features, have at it. It doesn't get more honest than this:

If you need a hint, I'll give you one.

Happy phototyping!

Sounds a little like my dad too...but he's 84 (7/6sp). He's still full of plans and get-rich schemes.

now i have an idea, to put it bluntly , there's often a touch of rascal vibe and the rogue in the neck. that i miss on your pics.

Thanks. You'd have to see me in real life--I change in literally every photo, so maybe the photo-typing session isn't quite fair of me.

@Lovemyth :) Yeah, I do withdraw. I attribute that to other things, like being sp and having a heavy 9 presence to my 8-fix (or maybe that's just my mom's influence, lol).

The 7w8 sense of realism and material/experiential orientation honestly describes my mindset far better than the more nervous, entertaining, and people-oriented 7w6 (although trying to convince myself I was a 6 for a year has made me very aware of the 6-influences in my life).

and a good friend of mine , 7w8:

lovemyth Posted - 27 Apr 2012 : 07:26:14 AM
i picked 7 because most of all she showed to me confidence. the 6 came from the little bit back- a hestitation like or holding back ( i don;t think it is just the posture but maybe but something seems like that she's not all the way out even though she seems present).

Cool to know the answer to it. I didn't get 7 as main type from the photos either. But how you wrote, I did get 7ish energy I have to admit.

thats not the point. not "too hard" in the sense of hardness. on the contrary. its a big and very friendly smile.

Maybe "forced" is the right word.

Oh and--my mom's the 9w1! Not me. What would you say a 7w8 looks like?

you dont look like a 7w8 on these two photos imo. zero.
most of my homies and friends are 7w8 and my father, too.
but i take your word . ok, youre a 7w8.
sometimes photos say nothing about your type.

parafox Posted - 26 Apr 2012 : 04:26:46 AM
You too, AstralScream.

I think one person pointed out the "hardness" of the smile--that's a pretty good way to describe me...I'm, well, not "soft".

And yeah, I did jump out of that chair...and roamed the city. I was in Dubai at the time, btw.
AstralScream Posted - 26 Apr 2012 : 04:09:01 AM
Of course, I missed the whole thing, but it is easy to imagine a 7w8 in those photos. Maybe because I keep looking at the first one feeling like there is no way you will be sitting in that chair for very long. I imagine, after that photo was taken, you jumped out of your seat and journeyed as far and wide as possible.

The head tilts away, arms crossed over the torso. Very guarded position, for all the "chirpiness" in your face. I do see a wild gleam hidden in there, though.

ooh...and I've had entirely too much coffee tonight. I will do a full expose if I keep guzzling.

Nice to "meet" you

Ah ha ha ha! "Chirpy" is not the word. Most would refer to me as grim, serious, determined, and fierce. Hence my difficulty realizing I was indeed a 7.

Blame my exuberant online upbeatness on having tried to acquire "social skills". :D

I belong to the 7-8-4 tritype; we are nearly impossible to pin down in terms of our core type. It took me many years to figure out I wasn't actually a 4, 5, 6, 8, or 1.

My MBTI is indeed ENTP.

I think my instinctual stacking is sp/sx--although I fit the "mission statements" of sx/sp better. Some folks on other message boards insist that it's really, really super-rare for someone to be soc-last...so therefore I'm probably just thinking in terms of stereotypes. Pff...but I take their viewpoint into consideration.

I see sp/sx in me MOST in terms of what I focus on, especially as pertains to type 7.

That's about it.
parafox Posted - 24 Apr 2012 : 11:51:47 PM
Well, so far it looks like we have a vague consensus:

Heart fix: 4w3
Head fix: 6/7
Gut fix: 9/1

MBTI: The only guess I've heard is ENxP

Instincts: soc-last

--

You guys are good. That's actually quite close to it. Points to remember:

Only one person has correctly mentioned the gut fix.
2 and 3 are the types I relate to the least, and there's a logical ennea-reason for it.
And do I look more like an ENTP or an ENFP?

SingularSensation is right...they're just photos...and my energy changes in each one.

I'm going to sleep now, but I'll be back in a few to give you the correct answer. Cast all bets now.

Here's your final hint: Apple

at first glance you seem 8 or 3.
Timo84 Posted - 24 Apr 2012 : 6:02:04 PM
Why not accept that this were my guesses and that I am surprised they were wrong; and I am also curious what her type turns out to be.
What's so difficult to understand about that? English isn't my first language, so don't get too obsessed with certain words I write and don't construct too much meaning out of it that might not be there.
