i buy this phenomena, obviously not each and every one, some are forged but not, imo, those with astonishing scale and complexity which very often appear overnight, and sometimes over two nights, after the crop circle enthusiasts have arrived day one.

i find the symbolic architecture on some too precise and detailed for them to be attributed to fraud, and the time frame to create some of these, impossible to achieve overnight , without dozens of skilled people and a whole heap of floodlights.

What is almost never reported is that on a number of occasions mulitple credible witnesses have seen them form in a matter of minutes,

here are a few that impress me

Liquid water doesnt exist on mars?......see the last 10 seconds of this otherwise rubbish clip; clearly liquid water, no ifs buts or maybes.......note the shadow reflecting off dirt to the left, and the shadow falling on water in the main picture, the submerging rocks.the glass like shadow reflection

thanks for that, seems the author was undecided whether it was human, or closer to human than chimpanzee; either way the answer reesides in the nuclear dna rather than the mitochondrial, which only informs us about the mother. Either way a six inch tall fully functioning human is quite astonishing, especially since clearly it is not an infant or baby.

The new star child results are also interesting, they have found a special part of the nuclear dna which gives the instructions for the entire body plan....and it turns out, this is not human..

Thought you might enjoy this:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/23/sirius-documentary-dna-re_n_3135628.html?utm_hp_ref=fb&src=sp&comm_ref=false

'... a scientist... concluded the little humanoid was human....

'"I can say with absolute certainty that it is not a monkey. It is human -- closer to human than chimpanzees. It lived to the age of six to eight. Obviously, it was breathing, it was eating, it was metabolizing. It calls into question how big the thing might have been when it was born,"said Garry Nolan, director of stem cell biology at Stanford University's School of Medicine in California.

'"The DNA tells the story and we have the computational techniques that allows us to determine, in very short order, whether, in fact, this is human," Nolan, who performed the DNA tests, explains in the film.

'"... The sequence that we got from the mitochondria [energy factories of cells] tells us with extremely high confidence that the mother was an indigenous Indian from the Chilean area. The other thing that immediately fell out of the analysis is that it's male. It probably died in the last century, if I were to make a guess."

'Nolan concedes he entered this study thinking that DNA was the answer, but then realized there were other biology questions about Ata that still needed to be understood and answered. He plans to eventually publish his findings after more analysis.'

I've been following this, and i'm very excited about it, in my gut, i feel this will actually happen as planned.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75ah6L10wfA

The project is brilliant on many fronts, creative, financially lucrative, very affordable, thanks to the govt not being involved, visionary.........and they've done their legwork, planning and feasibility studies, so they're very organized.

There is not much up on line about it now, but i heard an hour long interview on abc radio about this while i was out and about with a client ................... so exciting

see? take this as evidence that your wide brush is unwarranted. it's a field filled with people. people are not monolith. not even the institutions they create can be wholey even and unpocked. throw that idea in the trash.

Crop circles?! Somewhere right now, there's a white dad trying to come to terms with the fact that his daughter is attracted to black men.

Humans are predisposed to advanced forms of evolution never seen on this earth before. The last 100 years alone are a wonderful example of the 'homo sapien sapien's' ability to affect its own environment, and reach levels of cognitive intelligence never seen.

I've played this song before.. the human has 7 emotions. Name one other animal, reptilian, mammalian or otherwise with a cognitive awareness even close. The existence of this very board owes itself to the human's evolved ability to cognitively define their own existence, and the power to perform change and effect.

It's not just physical changes occurring, there are psycho-emotional changes occurring as well. Female birds still go for plumage like always. Humans literally redefined their own mating habits in 100 years, vis-a-vis what is attractive. Whose sperm goes where. It's happening at this very moment in time. Great-grandchildren won't even be recognizable.

I was thinking today about how the exponential change in life expectancy over the last 500 years seemed like an abrupt evolutionary change.

Something else that popped up too, was height. 200 years ago, 6 foot was very tall for a human being. It's pretty routine these days..

cha, cha, cha, changes.. and pretty abrupt on a geologic scale. I mean, 500 years in geology time is akin to a fart.

Oddy, yers, the french may still not be buying the "reptoid" story, but they seem to be warming to the amphibianoid angle..... this video, in case you missed it is very compelling, the washington meeting of dozens of cia employees, high ranking military, pilots, and so on.... offering sworn evidence before congress, 400 similarly credentialed people are waiting to put their case.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkjZ6izx6x8

To me this thread constantly brings me back to one of the original points; the enormous power of social conditioning, has on our thinking

One one hand, we have an idea about which people in general are absolutely convinced; evolution through random accidental advantageous change..........even though there is not a scrap of evidence in the pre-cambrian shales to support this view.......

and on the other, people in general, have very fixed views that aliens have not been visiting earth regularly, over the millennia, even though there is a truly extraordinary amount of compelling, and in regard to any other matter, conclusive evidence.

thanks bear, and oddy, i do find it odd that people arent up for a robust exchange of ideas; i could understand it if a person had little knowledge and or no strong views either way. "net , board conversations are obviously trickier than face to face, and i must admit i don't like the way it happens that when points are contested..the point simply disappears; that's one of the reasons i repeat myself so often.

I actually learn a hell of a lot more during a rubust conversation, than passive deference and minimalist responses. I would have liked that people had a good look at the bbc documentary, as it paints a wonderful picture about darwinian theories, his life, and works up to the finer genetic/bio models for which absolute proof and the facticity of the theory is claimed.

Evolution is "obviously irrefutable", this has never been my concern....it's the means by which it occurs that concerns me....."the how". it seems beyond doubt to me that at certain period nature throws up an astonishing variety of forms in a very short space of time, and does so regularly.the doco i mentioned probably contains the most plausible explanations, presents the problems, at least some, and how these are dealt with today.

It has a few substantial flaws, and a little bit of sleight of hand a critical moments......but very good..see if you can spot them.

I have no idea what the scientist means by "harmony", no doubt its a zen equivalent to some force of god, "baraka"..but for me the crucial thing was the immediate and voluminous appearance of incredible diverse body models, orders and classes as if from nowhere.

I'm encouraged by the beginnings of a new direction being taken by "evolutionists", the first signs of giving away a hopelessly flawed position in which accidental random accident, genetic drift and chance mutation took centre stage. An idea presented is that some supercell with unlimited diversification potential existed in the precambrian and this gave rise to the phyla..........a first step towards a more tenable position imo.

They still cant give up the long line of intermediates from their speculated 1000 mya for this supercell, but baby steps i guess. My personal speculation is that by one means or another the entirety of the diverse forms of the cambrian appeared from almost nothing in a million years or less, and that new forms emerged largely complete from the beginning.

.exactly how , i have no idea, but after 3 decades of fascination with the subject, and making numerous graphs from the fossil record, (in order to get a clear picture at last, rather than the pretty distortions which gloss over the true picture), i have seen this trend over and over again.

In the case of mans evolution for instance, leaving aside toumai, for the moment, we find a few australopithicines co existing with homo habilis and possibly even erectus (at least 1.8 mya but there is evidence it existed much earlier, and one other whose name escapes me for the moment. Then erectus carried the line right through until 70,000 years ago....although it may have survived until around 20,000

at around 400,000 years ago, a sudden diversity appeared again, with 5 homo species co existing.....including, i believe h.sapiens, although evolutionists hate this idea; the evidence grows though, and there is anecdotal evidence of homo sapiens at around 350 million years ago as opposed to 200,000 years ago, which fits the flawed bio/genetic means of dating used these days. there are also no doubt many new forms to be discovered, and many already discovered that were taken off displays at several museums as they did not fit the tidy picture of mans evolution, so fervently sold over the past 120 years.

Even fossil evidence from the past 20,000 years is completely ignored my modern science as they create all kinds of problems.........the star child skull is a classic, the conehead skulls, another....hundreds have been found, even a foetus within a woman......science has no interest whatsoever in going anywhere near either

the conehead skulls endlessly fascinating, here we have 5 distinct species of exceptional mystery and wonder; with brains twice the size of ours, and completely different skull anatomy.no scientific/genetic/mitochondrial testing has been carried out ......in fact no testing at all for 80 years, although private funds have seen some testing carried out on the star child skull.

What is especially interesting is where these conehead skulls show up........ancient egypt, sumer, and the peruvian mayan aztec and inca areas.

A super fascinating over view of the star child skull, do yourself a delight....watch it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YKwPOlXkYQ
