Posted - 22 May 2012 : 9:21:28 PM We recently finished our first online typing seminar and someone asked me to post the link to the free clips on here for others who might be interested.
http://insightfulinnovations.com/products
We had a really good time doing it any even had some boardies participate which was really nice to have the support and the interaction of people we know share our enthusiasm for the subject.
We focus a lot on the archetypal characteristics that can affect typing.
I also have a general question for anyone willing to answer: Would you like to see more Enneagram stuff available online? And if so what types of topics are most interesting: Typing, Psychological issues and the types, spirituality and the Enneagram, Type structures, Focused seminars on each individual type, Types in relationship, Types at work, etc. etc
Consider this a bit of market research...

That's a good suggestion. I was a film student for a year and if I had more editing expertise I would definitely like to do something like that.
I would like to do something more precise with the microexpressions work that we do....looking more closely at analyzing the microexpressions and what they say about the type structure.
We do a little of that in the longer videos, and look at their lexicon and non-verbals.
This particular seminar was more of a beginners course.

The 6w5 description is pretty good, I'm pretty aware of what other people are doing even when I don't react to it. The authority-challenging aspect is a lot more subtle than others I commonly see, which I like.
I haven't looked at any of the others, but he seems to know what he's talking about (was that you presenting?). It'd be nice to know what is meant by the various archetypes, unless he/you goes/go into that somewhere else.
Yeah that was me and my partner, Galen.
The archetypes are based on a conglomeration of The Michael Teachings, Carl Jung, David and Katherine Fauvre and Caroline
We talk about it more fully in the module 2 video.

All most like a frerensic TV show like screen screen presentation, but not pretend like but "REAL" as an indicator Gide. Like a computer gaming scream panel. With the graphics that help reveal the nature of the individuals’ story/ identity and its design as it unfolds in real time.

Posted - 23 May 2012 : 12:54:59 AM Galen, I see 9 and 5 in your face. You have the scholar and a little bit of the sage archetypes. How do you self type?

Posted - 23 May 2012 : 12:20:18 AM Thanks oceanlife. I appreciate the feedback. We really enjoyed you "being there", you really exemplify the seeking aspect of the 469 tritype. Having you there and your commentary helped someone else to see they might be that tritype too.
Jevoudrais, there's more to that conversation. It's an edited clip.

Posted - 23 May 2012 : 12:17:48 AM Yikes.
I'm sorry, but the "Some people think Patty is a 7 but she wears heart necklaces so she must be a 2. Really? Cause there isn't editing for television or producer direction or anything? Cause she isn't making kaching kaching off of the show? Because the focus in your opinion is on 'matchmaker' instead of 'millionaire'?
Yeah um...um... |

Posted - 22 May 2012 : 10:23:54 PM I attended some of the sessions and loved them. Kudos to the Insightful team.
Having something like this online (by reputable, credible teachers) is excellent. I would be interested in an online panel discussion of some sort, as that's something I've never seen IRL due to not traveling to find one.
Those BBC videos are good because they are panel-like, though the host could use a double espresso and some more dynamics.
I'm also interested in types in relationships. |
