And, er, since I'm on the subject of childhood crushes...

I think it was James Earl Jones' voice that got me.

LOL I had crushes on Aladdin, Prince Eric from the Little Mermaid, and the beast (only while he was still a beast though- he was kinda creepy pretty at the end when he turned back into a man).

Lol, I think I had a crush on the Beast, too. I never liked any Disney princesses though. I'm attracted to the hero/warrior/badass personality, whether it's male or female.

Omg we were just talking about Disney cartoon men and then you bring up platoon?! There are levels here, sunny. LOL

I do have really odd taste on men though. My teen crushes are pretty funny.

Love that dusty was into Mr Magnum there. LOL.

Maybe when we are younger, we have crushes on people who represent the young growing sexual side of ourself? The inner light.

dusty the hero, sunny the martyr.. ect.

Are you serious? You don't like any of them? Not even John Crichton, astronaut extraordinaire? How do your tastes run, sunny?

I also much prefer his short shorts to what people are wearing nowadays. And he could really rock 'em.

Yeah... maybe it's more like hero-worship? I want to be like them?

I always find people with some character to their physicality (or 'uniqueness', to use a typically 4 word) to be much more attractive. They have to stand out as a little different... 'classically' beautiful is entirely too insipid to hold my attention for more than 2 seconds, and I've usually found those people to be as boring inside as they are out. They annoy me. I don't get Cyto's taste at all, no emphasis on personality whatsoever. And some of Orpheus' choices on the female thread are even worse. I mean Kristen Stewart... look up 'insipid' in the dictionary and you'll find a picture of her. Natalie Portman is pretty bland too.

yeah, show me the characters you were attracted to, and you show me a little of your sexual nature. Some people are blind to self. You are not.
