If I feel upset about something, normally I repress/supress the feelings, and then they come out at undesireable times, then I have give explanations to others that are not true, bc, of not wanting them to know what I'm really feeling sad/crying about. This has happened at work a couple of times, mostly bc, of not feeling safe enough to tell the real reason why maybe expressing the feelings in art might be a therapeautic thing Good for you for having the courage to quit your job bc, you didn't want to betray yourself, have you found a new one yet?
I tried to delete the first of the double post....

When witnessing the semitruck strewn along the freeway My mind flashed to the family he left behind..A frozen pond stretched across the street and I imagined him skating with his children on it instead of worrying about work...this reminded me of missing my sister which made me think of the suicide thread...WHat is the difference between suicide, tragedy and natural death...This prompted me to remember Paul (my ex's) mothers funeral...Her 8w7 son (who wanted to grow up to be a cowboy hat...me a weeping willow) bent over next to this little creek in the graveyard whispering to his gorgeous russian model 3w4 girlfriend.. Then my own memory of Patti not having a funeral..everyone screaming and crying...Fooling ourselves I question 5150..I've visited the home for the sick..THe natural of reality is in the viewers eyes...It is only foolish if one see's it as foolish
I really don't think that there is a difference, bc, a loss of life is a loss of life regardless of the how's or why's. Did your sister commit suicide? I remember once driving home from a soccer tournament, traffic was backed up, bc, the police were trying to clean up an accident. I tried finding a shortcut along a back road and through a new housing developement, and came out exactly at the accident scene, pulled up into a bank parking lot and got out of my car to get a closer look at what happened. A pick-up truck, and 2 mini-vans collided, the truck spun completely around and the rear axle was sitting vertical under the truck instead of horizontal, truck covered with a tarp, the man inside was dead on the scene, there were also several pairs of shoes, and baby car seats, stewn about on the road. It was such a sad scene, I felt the pain that those people must have gone through, and walked away crying, the next day, brought flowers for the man that died, and left them where the truck was, even though he wasn't anyone that I knew, and wondered about how the ppl that survived the accident were feeling, if they were getting better. I also have come to understand that if someone close to you dies, you never really stop missing them, with time the sadness fades, but the moments of missing them don't.

We believe she did but we aren't entirely sure. Her husband msy have poisoned her..She was always loudly suicidal so it's hard to tell...Either way SHe was dead from methadone and he followed a year later by suicide..Death is death indeed however the willing death seems so wasteful... Yet I'm prone to appriciate both..Odd huh..SHe wanted a romantic tragedy and so she recieved a romantic tragedy and the storyline is just terribly ugly/beautiful..There aren't pictures. He threw away all our albums..How terribly tragic..
I'm sorry to hear about your sister, what causes you to think that her husband poisoned her? Did they have a strained relationship? My mother has her days, for the most part she is pleasant during phone conversations, but when the circumstances of her life begin to overwhelm her, she will rage and take her frusterations out on me, bc, I'm the only one (of our family) that will listen, and take the time to understand what she is going through, she acts out for attention by threatening suicide, its happened so many times, its hard for me to take her seriously. She thinks that she is the only one that has had to struggle in life, she doesn't seem to realize that everyone has hard times, sometimes. I just feel grateful that we can have a relationship, when she gets to be too much to handle, I refuse her calls, bc, I'm not going to subject myself to her rages. She understands on some level, and usually will refrain.
Strange perception I suppose however There's little in this world that I do not appriciate perhaps the exception being restrictions on free thinking and expression..Thats a real spirit crusher in my experience (after enough years of course).
I can understand why you feel this way.
It's awesome that you do things like that... The world needs that ..(and free coffee to the factory workers on freezing winter mornings )Colour the world..Hug the grieving hindu stranger who recently lost his brother and don't let go.....Hustle, bustle..ughh...With so much beauty?
I try to do little things for ppl that I work with, but in secret, like bringing coffee, and leaving it for them in place they can easily find it, but they don't know it was me
The snowfall is amazing here this week..
We have had snow, in small amounts, its still beautiful to watch falling
Those are really Kewl Ice sculptures btw...What Building is that? The NYC Library is phenominal..I'll have to scan some pics at walmart.
I didn't post them, Crooner did, they remind me of a show I watched a year or so ago, about a really cool ice motel, which I think is in sweden, here's the link, don't know if its going to work, but its worth a try......

There was no note..Patti was normally one for long notes..But Patti was extremely depressed and addicted to painkillers...It's hard to tell for sure. She had given up on everything..
**Maybe she had taken a few too many painkillers that night, although if you say she was one to leave long notes and didn't then that might have been a clue. We had a freind once, he was in and out of rehab, came out of rehab again, met a woman this time, she was a nurse, he changed his entire appearance from kind of a quirky, colorful dresser to straight-laced and conservative while in the relationship with her, one night he supposedly took a fall, banged his head, went to the emergency room, and died, meanwhile, she never went to the emergency room with him, instead "partied" at the house the same evening. Everyone that knew them thought she was responsible for his death, supposedly the scene wasn't secured and investigated properly, and speculation couldn't be proved.
Two weeks later all of her stuff was gone and he was planning on moving away with his girlfriend...One year later her commited suicide with methadone..(two days after the police questioned him) His gf said that he said I miss my wife, laid down and never woke back up..
**I still find it hard to believe that he got rid of all the pictures that you had, sound really sad to not have at least the memories. What was he addicted to? I know methadone is usually used for withdrawal from heroine, but also its used for withdrawal from oxycontin. My husband had a back surgery a few years ago and was on high dosages of oxycontin, so high in fact that they had difficulty keeping him sedated and controlling his pain for his surgery. They used metadone, and a combination of several other opiod and morphine in pill form for pain control. He has had problems with addictions since, his primary nurse thinks that any issues he might have are a direct result of long term oxycontin use. I remember picking up a prescription for him, and the pharmacist urged to be sure to use oxycontin for as short a period of time as possible, bc, the longer you are on it the more the body craves it.
Yeah I had the thrill of leaving money in old boots around christmas time back in 97..I had just recieved thirty grand so where ever I had an opportunity I left a boot on a doorstep.. Christmas in West Virginia where I went to but an old car project..The job situation is terrible out there..Lots of souls can't even afford to have their garbage picked up...
**Actually the job situation in wv, is bad bc, the rate of pay is far lower than the national average, but the cost of living is much lower also.

I don't believe it was accidental..The amount of methadone was extreme ..All her med levels were normal..Anti depressants, pain killers, anti anxieties..thats what was weird...But She could be a real snake when she wanted to be..She could have gotten the I'll show him Kick....Who knows exactly what he was using. It may have been Oxycontin...He had used many different drug...She was allergic to Oxycontin. Their youngest daughter swears up and down her mother never touched dads meds.
**I'm really sorry that you lost your sister, it have been really hard to come to terms with both her death and the circumstances surrounding the death. It very tragic, even if she thought she was just going to show him, but ultimately she is the one that is not alive to experience her life. How old were her children when she died, it must still be difficult for them that she is not a part of their life. I always feel sadness for kids that are caught in-between their parents and their parents issues, and wish that children didn't have to be the ones to go through them.
The magic that is slight of thinking/sensing/feeling art was referring to in the other thread I believe she may have been experiencing. I have experienced it myself..That wasn't what I was referring to but I know what he means..I'm not sure if her meds were causing hallucinations but She was having hallucinations.. The walls seem to breathe after you spend enough time in solitary on your bed..It can get very ugly..The tapping, rapping on the chamber door..
The job situation in the part of WV I visited (Van/madison) Has a 2 yr wait list to work at the local Mcdonalds...craziness!
**wow, you are kidding, right?
And yeah he got rid of all of her pictures..I believe I have one on my comp and a picture of a magazine model that could be her identical twin on my wall.I kept it as she would have loved it...Patti had the whole families photo albums so there aren't many of any of us left from childhood....
**Omg, I didn't realize that it was the entire families photo albums that are gone, that's horrible, I'm sorry Btw, your sister was beautiful.
Oxycontin is bad stuff..I know several people who have committed suicide after taking oxycontin..The withdrawal is horrible so I hear. My best friend Shawns younger brother committed suicide on oxycontin..He was 18 at the time...
**You should have seen what he went through when he tried to just stop taking oxycontin, a week of being sick, shaking, sweating, throwing up, couldn't get out of bed. He decided to wean himself off instead, with the help of a pain management Dr, that prescribed Kadian instead, while he slowly decreased the dosages, ultimately he went to a pain management rehab in Florida, which was a month long program, that took him off all pain meds and taught him alternative ways to deal with his pain.
