There is a great quote in the new movie, " Burn After reading. ". " I have gone as far as I can with this body. " Now its time to get her body remodeled....
In the James Bond movie, Diamonds are Forever, Bond comments on a missing billionare: " The perfect kidnaping victim, he has already disappeared. "

Going through the various quote books I couldn't find any about standing by your woman, showing her that you love her, or that the man is proud of her. Also it was impossible not to notice that humor about women and their supposed way in the era 1880 into the 1940s involving women comes at the angle of how much trouble they cause men, and how determined they are to have their own way!
All that is jarring to the modern ear. In the health section of the L.A. Times today there is an article called: : " Infidelity: cancer's toll? " The author reports that in too many cases of breast cancer, the husband leaves her and her cancer, or starts an affair.... Not much funny about that, so I'm unable to find any worthy comments on what Riley posted.
