Hey there.. I'm new to this message board and I am more familiar with personality disorders than the enneagram..
I was wondering if some of you might tell me what type you think the following Watchmen characters are (for those of you who are familiar with the graphic novel/movie)?
I will list the character and personality disorder I think best matches (it will help me to understand enneagram types better)
Dr. Manhattan.. schizoid Rorscharch... schizotypal Night Owl.. avoidant Silk Spectre 1 (laurie's mom).. histrionic Adrian Veidt.. narcissistic The Commedian.. antisocial
Dr. Manhattan - untypeable (not 5w6 (no longer 'human', at least in the usual sense of the word)) Rorscharch - 6w5 Night Owl - 9w1 laurie - untypeable (badly written (just another pretty girl dressing up in sexy attire for her man)) Silk Spectre - 6w7 Adrian Veidt - 3w4 The Commedian - 7w8 (not 8w7)
I watched the movie last weekend and read the Graphic Novel many years ago. Happy to say that, for the first time in comic books history, the movie portraits ALL the characters EXACTLY as they were depicted in the comic book.
I could say:
DR. MANHATTAN a Social 5 extended to God-Like levels. Talk about Totem!
RORSCHACH: SX 1 SILK SPECTRE II (Laurie): SX 6 NITE OWL 2: 6 or 9, itīs not clear.. THE COMEDIAN: SO 8 OZZYMANDIAS: SO 3 with a strong 4 wing SILK SPECTRE 1: SX 2
