Who might be going?
Read that it's in LA this next time.

And... I actually might find myself in the U.S. in July.
So am wondering if it would be worth it to register/attend, especially if I might have the chance to meet some people from here.

Or I could even just drop in for a day when people might be around the LA area (I also have a friend living there at the moment).

It's all been on my mind in general lately, thinking about potential meeting points in the u.s. where all my friends could drive to and see me in one go. Wishful thinking maybe, but I'd love to coordinate it somehow. ;P

Savory,

It’s actually in Long Beach, California - just south of Los Angeles.

Thanks for your offer to buy me a cup of coffee in New Zealand.
If I make it to Long Beach, allow me to buy the coffee…
plus the Key Lime Pie at Parker’s Lighthouse.

Well you know. In the area... :) "Area" for me encompasses vast oceans and continents, so an hour of whatever travel hardly registers to me any more. heh.

Actually it seems my friend is in Long Beach too.
So it'd be all nice and coincidental for a trip...
(and convenient if I would also fly out of LAX going home).

Mostly we'll see if I can save up enough money.
But thanks for the return coffee offer.
I'd love to own that plate that dessert's on...lol. Yum.

I won't be at IEA in 2012, but I'm really posting here to say... savory, I wonder if you would enjoy this web site. I like to browse there sometimes. http://www.mugheaven.com/

Yeah we'll see! :) I'd love to meet you two.

Even if I don't register it'd be awesome if I were in that area at the same time (or if I could manage to schedule it that way), if only just to meet up and visit some other people.

If I'm even going to the u.s...
my bf just sprang the possibility on me nary a week ago.

I might go for the dance party, but that is all. That is my aim, but it depends on my fathers health and many more things. I'm really bad with making plans so far in the future. I can't be counted on, by that messure.

You and me both.

Here’s a photo from today’s IEA announcement about the 2012 Conference.

Wouldn’t you know it… Parkers Lighthouse is front and center!
I’d recommend it for an EIDB gathering, but it’s a bit noisy.

Better stay away from the swimming pool at the IEA Conference
venues then. I’m gonna bring my infamous swim trunks.

But seriously… you’re someone I’d like to meet some time, Scorp.

If you can’t make it to an IEA conference, but I’m in your
neck of the woods, I’d enjoy taking you and your whole family
out to dinner.

If someone payed my flight I'd be there in a flash because all of the people on this thread pretty much make up the small amount of people I'd absolutely love to meet (among a few others, of course - not trying to be exclusive just am a bit intrigued)

Walden,

I didn't think you had been around the EIDB long enough to have seen that photo of me at 6% bodyfat.
Your recent picture (on Dnimon's Hottest EIDB Women thread) merits a greater level of notoriety.

I did refrain from inquiring about the (push-up?) bra, because I anticipated a response like...
"That's not a push-up bra, Crooner... that's just me... "

lol Crooner. It's an underwire bra, yeah. But, it isn't padded.

Your pic was before my time, so I've never had the pleasure of seeing your 6%

Cakes ~ Why meh? Not so fantastic food? Can we get a restaurant review?

JoL ~ Do you have a need to go incognito?
