Mayhem: What rules have I skirted? Ah, the microphones savagery, I've already had to deal with it. The only thing I haven't tackled is my singing voice. But with any voice stuff I do, I usually project more, and use proper equipment (real microphone, breath shield, and such). My vocaroo things sound half asleep.. |

Just based on your board behavior. I've noticed it in other ways, but the fact that you only post clips of yourself performing (singing, acting, speaking a foreign language...) when everyone else is posting clips of themselves talking normally strikes me as an image focus.
EDIT: Oh, I just remembered about the [blocked]y one. Still, that seems to sort of tie in too, in a way.

Riley is the only person to do many clips without giving a single insight into a real conversational speaking voice. That might be image. That might also be a shield of some sort, not so much image but
"control" over access. Some weird sx8 thing. Her singing sounds like a bird needing release. There is some kind of mating call going on, whether she knows it or not.

I do think her voice is lovely. I was just struck by the fact that she has only posted performances, rather than the conversational clips others are posting.
