the poems are succinctly beautiful, did you write them?
here is a brain question based on your description: what is the difference between the temporal and parietal lobes and the cerebral cortex? are they the same thing?
"The third area of the brain controls decision making and mental processing, chiefly the cerebral cortex, frontal lobes and corpus collosium. " |

I like this Gurdjeffian material because there is an unmistakeable sense of recognition when reading it, unlike with the Jungian functions and their grotesque bastardisation the MBTI.
There are people who have now spent significant chunks of their lives (fortunately I only spent a few weeks) trying to squeeze themselves into the dichotomies and dogmas of Cognitive Functions (TM). I can come here and see my cognitive patterns and blockages instantly -- and there's no need to be 'a type'. |

It sounds like the core driver is the same - resolving existential anxiety - but it's driving different behavious.

existential insecurity is the common driver of all three....it doesnt manifest interiorly as classic E6 anxiety....ie; the emotional gravitas/reaction, vigalence paranoia, planning ahead, danger etc...... in the other two types.....read them over
So same core driver, different manifestations.

The core behavioral response is to find intellectual solutions in virgo, anxiety fear in E6, and to act on the material plane with taurus
It sounds like the core driver is the same - resolving existential insecurity - but it behaves differently - rationally, emotionally, or practically.

not quite emotions are not behaviors in the broad sense....they are internal instinctive responses............you sound like your head is furiosly trying to validate etypes by merging things again........i outlayed these ideas so you could veery very easily get a feel for how completely different the internal response is in each........ lets not get into "etymology" semantics
Sure, emotions are not behaviours - I was refering to what you list as "core behavioral responses".
