haha...... institutionalized social conditioning retreats, dropping bad photocopies of red herrings along the way.

I was thinking today about how the exponential change in life expectancy over the last 500 years seemed like an abrupt evolutionary change.
Something else that popped up too, was height. 200 years ago, 6 foot was very tall for a human being. It's pretty routine these days..
cha, cha, cha, changes.. and pretty abrupt on a geologic scale. I mean, 500 years in geology time is akin to a fart. |

Humans are predisposed to advanced forms of evolution never seen on this earth before. The last 100 years alone are a wonderful example of the 'homo sapien sapien's' ability to affect its own environment, and reach levels of cognitive intelligence never seen.
I've played this song before.. the human has 7 emotions. Name one other animal, reptilian, mammalian or otherwise with a cognitive awareness even close. The existence of this very board owes itself to the human's evolved ability to cognitively define their own existence, and the power to perform change and effect.
It's not just physical changes occurring, there are psycho-emotional changes occurring as well. Female birds still go for plumage like always. Humans literally redefined their own mating habits in 100 years, vis-a-vis what is attractive. Whose sperm goes where. It's happening at this very moment in time. Great-grandchildren won't even be recognizable. |

| Crop circles?! Somewhere right now, there's a white dad trying to come to terms with the fact that his daughter is attracted to black men. |

Couldn't find the source for this, but someone quoted this to me the other day:
Modern man is the missing link between ape and human being.

I've been following this, and i'm very excited about it, in my gut, i feel this will actually happen as planned.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75ah6L10wfA
The project is brilliant on many fronts, creative, financially lucrative, very affordable, thanks to the govt not being involved, visionary.........and they've done their legwork, planning and feasibility studies, so they're very organized.
There is not much up on line about it now, but i heard an hour long interview on abc radio about this while i was out and about with a client ................... so exciting

Thought you might enjoy this:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/04/23/sirius-documentary-dna-re_n_3135628.html?utm_hp_ref=fb&src=sp&comm_ref=false
'... a scientist... concluded the little humanoid was human....
'"I can say with absolute certainty that it is not a monkey. It is human -- closer to human than chimpanzees. It lived to the age of six to eight. Obviously, it was breathing, it was eating, it was metabolizing. It calls into question how big the thing might have been when it was born,"said Garry Nolan, director of stem cell biology at Stanford University's School of Medicine in California.
'"The DNA tells the story and we have the computational techniques that allows us to determine, in very short order, whether, in fact, this is human," Nolan, who performed the DNA tests, explains in the film.
'"... The sequence that we got from the mitochondria [energy factories of cells] tells us with extremely high confidence that the mother was an indigenous Indian from the Chilean area. The other thing that immediately fell out of the analysis is that it's male. It probably died in the last century, if I were to make a guess."
'Nolan concedes he entered this study thinking that DNA was the answer, but then realized there were other biology questions about Ata that still needed to be understood and answered. He plans to eventually publish his findings after more analysis.'

thanks for that, seems the author was undecided whether it was human, or closer to human than chimpanzee; either way the answer reesides in the nuclear dna rather than the mitochondrial, which only informs us about the mother. Either way a six inch tall fully functioning human is quite astonishing, especially since clearly it is not an infant or baby.
The new star child results are also interesting, they have found a special part of the nuclear dna which gives the instructions for the entire body plan....and it turns out, this is not human..

Liquid water doesnt exist on mars?......see the last 10 seconds of this otherwise rubbish clip; clearly liquid water, no ifs buts or maybes.......note the shadow reflecting off dirt to the left, and the shadow falling on water in the main picture, the submerging rocks.the glass like shadow reflection
