Ennea Pottery is the latest line in Jen Jeglinski’s pottery wares. Those of you who have been to events at the Barn have seen her pottery in the bookstore. Now, her Enneagram inspired pottery is available for purchase online. In her shop, you will find stoneware mugs, trays, and magnets as well as porcelain pendant necklaces, all decorated in lively colors with Enneagram impressions.
Jen received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics from the State University of New York in 2001. Upon graduating, she set up her own basement studio in Upstate NY and continues to make work there in her free time.
All her pottery is made by hand using slabs that are pressed into a sheet of clay with a rolling pin. From there, Enneagram symbols are impressed into the wet clay. After the design is added, a shape is cut out with a pattern and the piece is formed. This slower pace allows for a slower more intentional process and adds uniqueness to each piece. Jen enjoys color and fininshes her work with handmade glazes.
