Private Phone Consultations

The ability to actively listen with interest and compassion is one of the necessary skills for any counselor. Another is to have insight into the client's questions—as well as into the questions the client is not asking. The Enneagram Institute offers two types of private phone consultations.

Consultations for Interpreting Enneagram Test Scores

Katy Taylor, personal assistant to Don Riso, Special Projects Director of The Enneagram Institute, and Riso-Hudson Enneagram Teacher offers assistance interpreting your Enneagram test scores (RHETI, QUEST-TAS, etc), and working with your type in your daily life.

Consultations are $75 for a 50 minute session by telephone. Hours available vary, and your Riso-Hudson test scores with any personal questions or biographical information must be sent prior to the consultation. Contact Katy to set up your appointment.

Consultations with Don Riso or Russ Hudson

Don and Russ are the most published and best-selling authors in the Enneagram field. They bring over 35 years of combined teaching experience to their private counseling and coaching sessions. They are warm, engaging teachers and counselors who help clients to see their issues more objectively and compassionately. In addition, they are the only major Enneagram writers to have been members of both the Gurdjieff Work and the Diamond Approach® of A.H. Almaas.

They are also responsible for many innovations in the Enneagram field, particularly the Levels of Development, by which they can pinpoint issues and solutions for each type within a larger psychological and spiritual context. Don and Russ use this insight to help clients find solutions in their personal and professional lives.

Consultations can be on a variety of topics such as personal development, career, spiritual growth, and relationships. Don and Russ can also review the results of the scientifically validated Riso-Hudson Enneagram Type Indicator (RHETI, Version 2.5) to help clients confirm and clarify their type. In brief, they can help you use the Enneagram–and related tools–more effectively in whatever areas of your life you may have personal concerns or questions.

Don and Russ are available both together and individually by telephone for private consultations on a limited basis. Consultation with either Don or Russ is $150 per 50-minute hour. If you wish to have a session with both Don and Russ, the rate is $275 per 50-minute hour. Please contact The Enneagram Institute to book a time or for further information.

Email Consultations

Katy Taylor, personal assistant to Don Riso, Special Projects Director at The Enneagram Institute, and Riso-Hudson Enneagram Teacher offers email consultations in two formats:

As follow-up coaching after an initial consultation;
In lieu of a telephone consultation.

As Follow-Up Coaching: Your initial consultation may have been with Katy, Don, or Russ; the coaching work will be based on your experience of that session. This email coaching will help you to keep your follow-up work with the Enneagram alive, and includes answering questions, suggesting practices, giving guidance for real-life applications, etc.

In Lieu of a Telephone Consultation: This email consultation is based on what you bring to the session and includes answering questions, suggesting practices, giving guidance for real-life applications, etc.

The cost is $75 for three email exchanges. You can choose to spread the three exchanges over as long as 3 months after the initial consultation. You may contact Katy with any questions and to schedule your appointment before purchasing this item, or the Office will contact you to schedule your appointment after receiving your order.
