The Riso-Hudson Enneagram Type Indicator
The Riso-Hudson Enneagram Type Indicator (RHETI) is a scientifically validated forced-choice personality test with 144 paired statements. It provides a much higher level of accuracy than our free sample test, and much more detailed personality profiles. The test takes about 40 minutes to complete. The RHETI in booklet or online form is ideal for workshops, presentations, group settings, or for working with clients.
The Riso-Hudson Enneagram Type Indicator (RHETI) Version 2.5 features a newly revised edition of the highly popular questionnaire found in Discovering Your Personality Type. In this new edition of the RHETI, refinements have been made to about 10% of the questions, thereby increasing the reliability and usefulness of the test as a whole. This is the version that has been independently scientifically validated. Rather than just indicating your basic type, however, the RHETI produces a full personality profile across all nine types. This provides you with a unique portrait, indicating the relative strengths and weaknesses of the nine types within your overall personality.

RHETI Results
There are differences in the type descriptions in the online and booklet versions of the RHETI.
Online Version: Results of your RHETI will take you to the Expanded Enneagram Type Descriptions. These type descriptions have been revised and updated to provide the most comprehensive type summaries available.

- If there are ties among the RHETI results, or near-ties (if the scores of two types are plus or minus 1 point), we consider the results of the RHETI to be ambiguous, and you will be offered a free second take of the test at your convenience.
Booklet Version: The type descriptions provided in the RHETI booklet are shorter than those provided with the online RHETI results for production reasons. View the nine type descriptions provided in the RHETI Booklet.
