Professional Background

Janette has worked as a people development professional for over 20 years. Her employed background was in the retailing and broadcasting industries. She has run her own leadership coaching company, Insight Coaching, for over 6 years. Based in Gateshead, in the North East of England, she travels widely and has worked nationally and internationally. She has trained extensively as a Leadership Coach and Group Facilitator.

As well as being a Certified Riso-Hudson Teacher and an Authorized Workshop Teacher, Janette’s credentials include accreditation with the International Coach Federation, Certification as a Business Coach, and a Diploma in Gestalt in Organisations. Janette is also a Certified Practitioner of a range of personality tests. She works with senior executives and their teams in a wide variety of organisations—public, private, voluntary and religious sectors, supporting her clients to become inspiring leaders from the inside out.

Personal Statement

I see my work with individuals and groups as an enormous privilege. We join together on a journey where we can’t be certain of the outcome but deep learning always occurs for everyone involved. For me, this work is part of my spiritual path, which is about enjoying the journey of awakening—the process of becoming a more fully alive human being.

I combine an ability to work at a deep intuitive level while keeping an engaged and practical perspective. Over the years, I have developed a reputation for perceptiveness, humour, courage and emotional depth. I am also a life long learner and am constantly seeking to incorporate new insights and ideas into my work so that it can support the personal and professional growth of as many different types of people as possible.
