Personal Statement

I am honored to be a member of The Enneagram Institute family. The thoughtful work of Don Riso and Russ Hudson continues to make profound contributions to the awakening and healing of the global community. Their expansive body of writing, pioneering leadership in the Enneagram field, and presence and depth as teachers is deeply inspiring.

I personally have found the Enneagram to be the most robust and integrative approach to spiritual development and psychological maturation. The fundamental teaching of the relationship between personality and Essence provides a grounded and graspable way into the process of awakening and into the experience of Love.

The Enneagram teaches that "we don’t need to be fixed." Rather, the Enneagram illuminates the inner structure of personality which shapes and emotionally charges most of life’s experiences. It shows us the keys for relaxing troubling patterns with compassion and accessing higher levels of psychological and emotional health, as well as behavioral effectiveness. Ultimately, the Enneagram shows us the way to inner peace.
