Logistics for The Riso-Hudson Training Program

Registration

Registration for all Trainings produced by The Enneagram Institute can be directly accomplished by following the link on our Schedule for the particular event you are inquiring about.

Training Details

The Training Program is regularly offered in the United States and elsewhere throughout the world. The Training Program consists of three Parts and one required Workshop. Details about the length and structure of each Training can be found on our Shopping Cart or through the Producer listed on the Schedule. Sessions are typically from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm, from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, and from 7:30 to about 10:00 in the evening. The hours for the required Workshop, The Enneagram and the Inner Critic (Psychic Structures), vary depending on Producer and location. Outside the United States the structure varies. Other Trainings, such as the Master Class and the Authorized Workshop Training Programs, follow the same basic price and schedule structure.

Please see the Schedule for dates and locations. Part I Trainings are usually offered in the United States on the East Coast at The Barn in Stone Ridge, New York (90 miles due north of New York City), at the Simpsonwood Retreat Center near Atlanta, Georgia, and on the West Coast, usually in Northern California. The Part I Training is also periodically offered in Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, and other parts of the world. Parts II and III are currently only offered on the East Coast and sometimes abroad. Senior Faculty Russ Hudson or Gayle Scott teach our Trainings with our Part I and Part II Faculty at different Training sites around the world.

More information about the Training site and related logistics (how to get there, Institute policies, and other information) will be sent to you after you register. Please note that our Trainings often sell out, with between 45-50 people attending from around the world. Please sign up early to ensure your place in these highly informative, joyous, and transformative events.

Although intense and packed with information and exercises, the Trainings are also wonderfully energizing since participants begin to let go of their personality features and learn to become more present—thus freeing up energy and allowing more to be created.

The Trainings are aimed at serious students of the Enneagram. In order to get the full value of this Program, we recommend that students read Personality Types and/or the Wisdom of the Enneagram before attending a Training.

To protect the privacy and confidentiality of our discussions, no personal tape recording of the Trainings is permitted.

Tuition and Lodging Fees

Tuition and lodging fees vary from event to event, depending on their location and country. See the Schedule for specifics. Discounts, including scholarships and commuter discounts are listed here. A deposit ($500 in the US for EI events) is required to hold your place, with the full balance due one month before the start of the Training.

At most facilities (in Georgia and California, for example), rooms are double-occupancy. Single rooms are available for an additional fee of $275 on a first-come, first-served basis if space is available at the Training facility. Single rooms are not guaranteed and are typically offered the last week before the Training begins.

At The Enneagram Institute Barn, lodging is not included, and participants must arrange their own overnight accommodations. A list of nearby B&Bs, hotels, and motels at various price ranges as well as transportation information is available. You may coordinate your travel and lodging with other Riso- Hudson students by registering on our Discussion Board and entering the Password found in your registration email. Payments

For Trainings produced by The Enneagram Institute please pay via credit card through our online Shopping Cart. If you would like to pay with a check or money order, please contact the The Enneagram Institute. All foreign checks and money orders must be drawn in U.S. Dollars. An additional $25.00 fee will be charged for processing checks from foreign countries. For Trainings produced by others, please contact the person listed on the Schedule.

Visitors

A very limited number of visitors (RH students only) may visit during a Training. Contact our office beforehand to see if space is available and to arrange for payment of day-fees with the facility.
