About Us

The Enneagram Institute

The Enneagram Institute is dedicated to the Work of human liberation and transformation. For thousands of years, spiritual teachers from many different traditions have reminded us of the richness of the human spirit and its potentials. But without real self-knowledge, it is not possible to awaken to the deeper truths of the soul or to sustain whatever degree of realization we have attained. One of the most powerful tools for understanding ourselves and others is the Enneagram, an ancient symbol of unity and diversity, change and transformation.

The Enneagram Institute was formed in 1997 by Don Riso and Russ Hudson to further their research and development of this remarkably insightful and useful approach to understanding human nature. Our main office is located in Stone Ridge, NY, as well as worldwide representation by Enneagram Institute Network Members. The Institute is engaged in presenting Workshops and Trainings in the Insight Approach® around the world, as well as publishing books, tests, audiotapes, and other materials to raise awareness of the Enneagram.

Hi Wendee,

Thanks, we’re excited about the new website too! We’re so sorry you haven’t been receiving your EnneaThoughts.

Our old e-mail delivery system became outmoded and increasingly unreliable (as many of you can attest), and so we have changed our e-mail provider of the EnneaThoughts. The initial switch happened Wednesday night, and the last EnneaThought delivered was May 14.

We are holding off sending out EnneaThoughts while we launch our brand new website and upgrade more of our technical infrastructure. We want to make sure that the next time the EnneaThoughts go out via the new system, they go out with the attention to detail our subscribers deserve.

Best Wishes,

I, too, am missing the daily EnneaThoughts. Am excited to know I will once again receive them when the new system is up and running.
